Hollye Dexter And the Brave Souls

Be Brave

A note from Hollye-

One of the main objectives in my career is to blend art with service to our community. We do a lot of benefit concerts and my family has been actively involved in mentoring Foster kids. I hope to inspire people with this music, and I also hope to inspire them to open their hearts to others. If you don't like the way the world is looking, or the way you feel inside, reach out and get involved. Mentor a child. It will be the greatest gift you ever gave yourself.

We have recently joined forces with other local L.A. artists Kiki Ebsen, Debra Davis, Remi and The Gurus and founded the Music Heals  Foundation.  We partner with charitable organizations to help raise funds and awareness through hosting benefit concerts. One of our goals for the future is to bring Music and Art clinics to Residential Treatment facilities for children in Foster Care, and in Schools in impoverished areas. Please visit our site for upcoming events

Once again a HUGE thank you for contributing your wonderful music to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Thanks in large part to you and your group's performance, this year's Making Strides Against Cancer was a huge success. We had over 9,000 participants walking and anticipate over 1.3 million in donations...We heard such enthusiastic praise about the energy and entertainment you provided at the event that there has been a huge demand for you to perform again next year....Everyone loved your part of the performance. You add something so special to our message. Please tell everyone how much they are appreciated! Here's to next year!

It meant so much to me that you agreed to appear at our special Concert In The Park, fundraiser for the victims of 9/11. The songs you performed were very effective to many people in our audience and truly added a new dimension to our concert. Thank you for all your time and efforts. The show was a huge success!

...thank you for making the 2001 Suzuki Rock 'n' Roll Marathon a smashing success! We feel that this year's line up was the most talented one to date. The feedback from the runners was amazing! Countless participants commented that the enthusiasm and support from the bands helped them cross the finish line. Thanks for helping these people accomplish their goals.
